Leisure Pools SMART Color Range
The Leisure Pools SMART Color Range is a new generation of premium, high
performance gelcoat combining advanced performance and dramatically reduced
VOC (Volatile Organic Compounds) emissions, as a consequence of extremely low
styrene contents of less than 28% by weight.
This gelcoat provides up to 50% less VOC emissions than standard gelcoats making
it better for the environment over traditional gelcoats used in fibreglass
swimming pools.
The Leisure Pools SMART Color Range contains an antimicrobial system that is designed to inhibit the growth of harmful
organisms such as bacteria at the gelcoat surface.
The particular antimicrobial additives contained in the gelcoat provide long term protection against various microorganisms,
without posing hazards to human health – and have also gained EPA, EFSA and FDA approvals. They do not leach out and have no
environmental impact.
Antibacterial properties of Aquaguard ECO Plus have been verified via independent testing to the JIS Z 2801:2000 standard.
